Club Instructors
Our chief instructor Grand Master Scott Hammond holds an 8th Dan black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and multiple black belts across various other martial arts disciplines. With a distinguished background in competitive martial arts he has competed at a high level amateur level across full contact, semi-contact, point fighting and patterns over an extensive career. Now focused on instruction and mentorship he is dedicated to sharing his deep knowledge of martial arts with his student, His coaching has led to the development of numerous high level amateur competitors in both mixed martial arts and Tae-Kwon-Do many of whom have gone on to achieve notable success in their respective disciplines
Johnnie currently holds a 5th Dan black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and a 2nd Dan black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, He is an accomplished competitor having achieved victories across multiple disciplines including MMA, K1, Tae-Kwon-Do and submission grappling. With extensive fighting experience Johnnie has transitioned into coaching through Scott guidance of which he has actively developed his leadership skills. He maintains a professional and disciplined approach to training committed to fostering growth and excellence in the students.
Thomas is currently a 2nd Dan black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and a 3rd Dan black belt in jiu-jitsu he has been training since 2011 and has recently decided to get involved in coaching. Under Scott’s guidance he is currently working towards becoming an instructor he is skilled in both disciplines and will be a fantastic asset for the club
